Advanced NVT
Advanced NVT (Network Value to Transaction) is an evolution of the original NVT Signal. It takes Bitcoin's total market capitalization (network value) and divides it by the 90-day moving average of daily transaction value. This version includes standard deviation bands to identify overbought (red zone) or oversold (green zone) conditions.
Interpretation
The Advanced NVT indicator helps assess whether Bitcoin is overbought or oversold by comparing network value with transaction volume. When the indicator reaches the upper red zone, it suggests Bitcoin is overbought, while the green zone indicates an oversold condition. This can help identify potential profit-taking or buying opportunities during a cycle.
Key Insights
- Advanced NVT helps predict Bitcoin price movements by analyzing investor activity and transaction volume
- The red zone indicates overbought conditions, while the green zone signals oversold conditions
- Useful for medium-term predictions and identifying intra-cycle opportunities for profit-taking
